Stencils

We learnt how to make freezer paper stencils at Brown Owls. I put glitter on my which was sparkly and lovely... until I ironed it to set the ink and it kind of melted and became globby and lumpy looking. Still, it was fun, and I am going to work on this design.

Since freezer paper isn't exactly easy to come by here I've been using an alternative - photocopy paper wrapping.

  1. Hi, what type of photocopy paper wrapping did you use? Was it the same process as freezer paper? Interesting! These look great :)

  2. Just use the wrapping that comes around standard office photocopy / printer paper. I used fuji xerox because that's what we have at work. I stuck a sign in the stationary room asking for the wrappers hehe. The inside of the wrapper is waxy and it works just like freezer paper :)
