Her birthday was, er, in December, and I only finished it about a week ago. Anyway, here it is, finally:<br /><br /><a title="20100426_0463 by flying zebra design, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49945816@N06/4583881180/"><img style="WIDTH: 218px; HEIGHT: 275px" alt="20100426_0463" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4061/4583881180_40b410d9a3.jpg" width="343" height="500" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />This little cot quilt was made using a moda charm pack and took about 5 minutes to make! Ok, I lie, it took about an hour to make the quilt top but that's still pretty quick. It felt like cheating.<br /><br /><a title="20100426_0460 by flying zebra design, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49945816@N06/4583252811/"><img style="WIDTH: 264px; HEIGHT: 213px" alt="20100426_0460" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4060/4583252811_8515d8ebca.jpg" width="500" height="332" /></a> <a title="20100426_0461 copy by flying zebra design, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/49945816@N06/4583252409/"><img style="WIDTH: 263px; HEIGHT: 238px" alt="20100426_0461 copy" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3300/4583252409_ef973da62b.jpg" width="500" height="428" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-66931854700359272622010-01-31T21:31:00.002+10:302010-01-31T21:36:24.482+10:30Leaf Print SundayI had to buy some more fabric for printing yesterday. I also tried to do some more riso prints, but the results were disappointing (the pengies with the drawn shading not the solid colour.) I think its because I mounted the screen on a piece of corrugated plastic with a hole cut out in the middle, so there is no "twang" to the screen, and it’s not attached to a board properly.<br /><br />I have attached hinges to my “proper” screen and to a piece of wooden board which makes printing so much easier, and as the hinges’ pins are long I don’t have to push them in all the way so I can take the screen off the board easily to wash it.<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=300110_1763.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/300110_1763.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Yester day I finished a lino cut that I began ages ago. I have done screen prints of the same image, so it will be interesting to see which one I like more. I love cutting lino, but I’m not so great at printing with it – when I’ve used a press I haven’t had problems, but that’s not something I have access too. Oh well, we’ll see how it goes!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=300110_1764.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/300110_1764.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-76515404662374827772010-01-28T08:00:00.000+10:302010-01-28T08:03:23.739+10:30ThursdayA peek at some other patchwork projects started recently…<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=270110_1734.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/270110_1734.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=270110_1731.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/270110_1731.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-50913260591099383102010-01-27T07:56:00.001+10:302010-01-27T08:00:26.442+10:30Half finished itemsHope you had a great Australia Day! We celebrated traditionally, with a barbeque followed by pavlova. Yum!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=270110_1730.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/270110_1730.jpg" /></a><br /><br />I started making this quilt for my Nan’s birthday which was, ahem, in December . The top has been finished for ages, but it seems like every time I’ve had some time to myself it’s been in a heat wave, when the whole quilting and binding process is very unappealing. It’s a large lap quilt – the biggest I’ve attempted so far - and it’s now half quilted, but I don’t know when I’ll talk myself into sitting down to bind it. Poor Nana. It’ll be summer in the UK by the time that I have it finished and sent to her!<br /><br />While I haven’t wanted to do the quilting, I have felt like sewing a lot lately. I’ve used the scraps to make a baby quilt top:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=270110_1736.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/270110_1736.jpg" /></a><br /><br />And another UFO (I still have to sew on half the binding), a potholder:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=270110_1728.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/270110_1728.jpg" /></a><br /><br />This is also my first quilting using a walking foot that I’ve been lent. It makes things a lot easier!Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-68328753627026365192010-01-21T18:00:00.003+10:302010-01-21T18:19:27.127+10:30Hello Again..It’s been a lot longer between posts than I thought it would be!<br /><br />The last couple of months have flown by. Moving house was ridiculously chaotic, no surprises there! But we're settled in now. I took a portrait photography evening class last term which kept me pretty busy, then it was Christmas season and somehow we’re half way through January already. Did anyone notice how that happened?<br /><br />I didn’t do anything like as much sewing/crafting as usual. I think the only things I made between the last post and Christmas were a lap quilt which I’m yet to bind, a baby quilt (that I finished but gave away without taking a picture of) and a <a href="http://www.simplicity.com/p-2534-misses-dresses.aspx">maxi dress</a> for myself.<br /><br />I made the view shown in black and white out of a multi-coloured abstract print jersey. Even though it was a last minute rush job to get it finished before a party it’s turned out to be a great dress and I’ve worn it several times.<br /><br />I’m working on a few projects at the moment which I’m looking forward to sharing with you as soon as I’ve done a bit more work on them :)Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-64248238634016822502009-10-16T08:00:00.002+10:302009-10-16T08:10:32.281+10:30BlogtoberfestI have to admit defeat. There is too much going on for me this October to post often enough for Blogtoberfest. One of the more exciting goings on is that I am moving house! It's been a very spur of the moment decision so I have a lot to organise. It also means that I probably won't be able to access the interwebs from home for a while, so if you don't hear from me, you know why! xPippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-79461666409472760772009-10-12T21:08:00.002+10:302009-10-12T21:12:18.293+10:30My new skirtThe warm weather on the weekend made me feel like making a light and comfy skirt for summer. My top comes down over the white bit, so it looks better on.<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=summerskirt.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/summerskirt.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-63030824629292569572009-10-11T15:32:00.002+10:302009-10-11T15:35:25.724+10:30This is my first sewing with fabric that I have printed myself – ok so it’s not all fabric I printed but about half of it is. I think that drawstring bags, although simple are really useful. Since I normally walk to work, I have one that I keep under my desk with work shoes in it, then swap them over my stinky sneakers. I like to think that the drawstring helps to keep the smell contained! I also use them for travelling, and if I were more organized I’d keep hosiery in one and wouldn't have a hole somewhere in each pair. So I decided to make some more. I like it when things are simple and useful. What do you think of them?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=bags1.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/bags1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />See, pretties on the back too!<br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=bags2.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/bags2.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=bags4.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/bags4.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-49039098013876515462009-10-10T15:19:00.000+10:302009-10-11T15:23:52.286+10:30Bowerbird BazaarBowerbird Bazaar is on this weekend in Adelaide, tucked away in Queens Theatre. It was definitely work taking a look around – <a href="http://brightredcherries.blogspot.com/">Cherry </a>& <a href="http://thriftnestsew.blogspot.com/">Tracey </a>went too and <a href="http://delilahdevine.blogspot.com/">Linda </a>has a stall there. The same day I got mail with a fabric sample pack I bought from <a href="http://www.kristendoran.bigcartel.com/">kristen doran</a> - my first online fabric purchase. How exciting!<br /><br />These are the bags of material:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=newstash4.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/newstash4.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Some of what was inside...<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=newstash1.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/newstash1.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=newstash3.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/newstash3.jpg" /></a><br />I did think maybe it was christmas..<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=newstash2.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/newstash2.jpg" /></a><br /><br />And this is the monster-cat being perfectly happy in what looks like a very uncomfortable position.<br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=monster3.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/monster3.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=monster1.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/monster1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />She might not look like it, but she really is a monster!<br /><br />Other than sorting through those bags of fabric and playing with the monster, I've also been sewing some little things, some using my own printed fabric. It’s so exciting!<br /><br />My first home-made screen prints are of my bird design which you have seen evolve over the last few weeks. I have been doodling these little birdies all over the place so it’s great to see them printed as I had envisioned.<br /><br />Although I have got my screen, my squeegee, my hinged board to hold the screen still and fabric to print on there was still, I am afraid, a fair amount of swearing involved. While most of my printing went really well I didn’t have enough table space set up to easily rest the fabric with wet ink on. This resulted in most of my beautiful prints (which I had felt quite proud of) folding over on themselves and smudging. Oh well, a lesson learnt. I have a plan in my head for next time which will involved trestles, an old door and a card table – and very little space in the room around them.<br /><br />I couldn’t help myself, I had to post a load of pictures. Check out the t-shirt I printed, its an old one in case I ruined it, but I think it turned out alright!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdies5.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdies5.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdies4.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdies4.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdies2.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdies2.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdies3.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdies3.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=tshirt.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/tshirt.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-78267597729788186882009-10-04T10:52:00.002+10:302009-10-04T10:58:12.334+10:30Riso PrintI got a Riso screen made at an art shop and have just tried it out:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=20091004_1041.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/20091004_1041.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=20091004_1037.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/20091004_1037.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br />I decided to stop because there really isn’t much point in trying to print onto fabric that needs an iron (I just couldn’t wait to try it out), but I’m pretty happy with the results. Especially since the squeegee I used came from the tiling section of the hardware store.<br /><br />I’m a bit worried about my camera, or rather one of my lenses. The beautiful 50mm 1.4 that I am borrowing wouldn’t connect properly to my camera when I went to take these pictures this morning. It came up with “fEE”. I guess there’s a problem with one of the little metal connector thingies but I don’t know how to fix it.<br /><br />I signed up to Blogtoberfest yesterday, but haven’t made a very good start with it. I thought I’d get around to posting later in the day, but instead I went to see a movie and went straight to bed when I got home. Oh well, I’ll have to pretend October started today!Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-34073578445634571922009-10-02T07:29:00.003+09:302009-10-02T07:38:00.623+09:30Girl's skirt<a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=skirt.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/skirt.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Last night I made this little skirt (using the tutorial at <a href="http://oliverands.com/">oliver + s</a>) for my boyfriend's niece. I have left the elastic threading hole open so that I can adjust it to fit her as I don't have her measurements. I hope she likes it! I'd recommend having a look at the pattern/tutorial as it is so quick and easy - you could make several of these in an evening. If only making clothes for myself were as fast!<br /><br />Do you like my manequin? I rescued it from the bin when I worked in a clothing store! I'm sharing anyway.<br /><br />I tried leaf prints - here are some blobby nasturtium prints:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=leaf.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/leaf.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Then I used a stamp made from an eraser which I quite like, even though the printing is very... unique.<br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=snails1.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/snails1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />I also tried lino cuts mounted on wooden offcuts. I tested them on paper with a different ink but the fabric version shows bits I need to fix on them both. I learnt how hard it is to get a consistent print in this way!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdstamp.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdstamp.jpg" /></a><br /><br />So I gave up on the stamping idea and tried a stencil - I used contact to cut a similar stencil to one that I intended to screen print. The results were a lot better!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=birdsfawn.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/birdsfawn.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=pinkbirds2.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/pinkbirds2.jpg" /></a><br /><br />I like how the colours go with the background colour of the material. I was also glad that I could use this stencil so many times, unlike freezer paper /photocopy paper wrapping. But I am definitely looking forward to getting my screen printing gear ready!<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=stencil.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/stencil.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-6722810440279862382009-09-15T07:04:00.004+09:302009-09-15T21:24:26.129+09:30StencilsWe learnt how to make freezer paper stencils at Brown Owls. I put glitter on my which was sparkly and lovely... until I ironed it to set the ink and it kind of melted and became globby and lumpy looking. Still, it was fun, and I am going to work on this design.<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=freezerpaper.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/freezerpaper.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br />Since freezer paper isn't exactly easy to come by here I've been using an alternative - photocopy paper wrapping.<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=onsies.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/onsies.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=onesiepaperdoll.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/onesiepaperdoll.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=onesiecat.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/onesiecat.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=onsiegiraffe.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/onsiegiraffe.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=onesies.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/onesies.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-8463461436524055732009-09-13T15:19:00.002+09:302009-09-13T15:21:54.613+09:30Another Baby QuiltThis one is just about to be sent off to the UK, to a very new baby girl.<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view¤t=pinwheel1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/pinwheel1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view¤t=pinwheel.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/pinwheel.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-1083626504012784282009-09-11T17:31:00.002+09:302009-09-11T17:38:54.307+09:30Wearable BloomsI saw the "wearable blooms" performance/show/display at the Royal Show yesterday. "Have made significant progress on" would be more appropriate.<br /><br />I was planning to share all of them with you, but I keep getting distracted.<br /><br />For instance, I went to a shoe repair shop in my lunch break the other day, where they also make shoes, which is pretty cool, but nowhere near as exciting as the leather off-cuts which they sell bags of in all sorts of lovely mixtures of colours and thicknesses. So naturally I had to buy a bag - ok, two bags - of them. So that night I raided the bookshelf for '70s craft books and make this little purse. I then had to go to spotlight for the snap fastener and leather needles the next day, and instead of finishing other half finished items when I had some spare time, I sat on the floor and sorted through my new leather stash. Naturally this involves spreading the leather off-cuts artfully around me on the floor, taking up as much available space as possible which was ridiculous as I'd just spent most of the day tidying up! Will I ever learn?<br /><br />Here's my first attempt at making anything from leather:<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view¤t=purse.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/purse.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br /><br />Oh and here's something I forgot to put on the list but I used it tonight which reminded me - my yoga bag. I love this ikea fabric.<br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view¤t=yogabag.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/yogabag.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-33954495541461169582009-09-06T18:57:00.003+09:302009-09-06T22:42:09.049+09:30Screen printing!<span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I'm so excited about screen printing at the moment!<br /><br />I've just taken a short tafe course in screen printing which I enjoyed immensely, and its left me with so many ideas to try out - all I have to do now is to find the time to carry at least a few of them out.<br /><br />Here are some of the results of the course:<br /></span><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=screenprint3.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/screenprint3.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=screenprint.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/screenprint.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><a href="http://s556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/?action=view&current=20090904_0447.jpg" target="_blank"><img border="0" alt="Photobucket" src="http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss10/hellopoppy/20090904_0447.jpg" /></a>Pippahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06013141176574129584noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6661555083330352445.post-18770479737900656482009-09-02T21:44:00.002+09:302009-09-02T21:52:33.330+09:30Bunnies<span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;">I learnt how to crochet at brown owls.
